Maia Paduraru was born in the most obscure country of Europe, Republic of Moldova. A post-soviet place where a latin language- Romanian – is spoken alongside with a slavic one -Russian.
She has a BA in Art History from the University of Groningen and has an interest in visual culture and politics.

Maia likes contemporary / modern art and photography. She aspires to be an art critic and a cultural journalist.
